Another day on the job, another 8 hours worth of pay on my check.
Yesterday was rad. When I left work, I met my husband at Costco, shared a slice of pep, bought some navel oranges, and headed home. Once we arrived, he had a big surprise for me; Japanese Import Pens!! There were so many of them. Okay, let me see, I brought all of them to work with me. The coolest ones were the Pilot HI-TEC-C with 0.3 mm tips [red, black, and purple]. Another rad one is the Tombow REPORTER 4, which has 4 pen colors in one [red, black, blue, and green]. To top it off, I got a Writing Kit which included pens, a correction pen, lead sticks, an eraser [click it like an automatic pencil], 2 highlighters [pink and yellow], a pencil, and a sign pen. It was bliss. I need to just write for the sake of writing now. I'll write names, and places, and essays, and articles, and poems, and short stories, and haikus, and monologues, and screenplays, and obituaries, and want ads, and sermons [wink], and directions, and will begin my book. I'm old school like that. I have so many pens that I'll probably never run out of ink, but that's not the point of getting a new pen. It's a whole new experience; the feel of a new barrel, the fluidity of new ink. Le plume. L'encre. L'amour.
